i love my caffeine, i really do. long before my most recent addiction to red bull and monster (which i am convinced cause impotence, not a first hand account though) i was and still am addicted to coffee. most specifically dunkin donuts coffee. i am not alone in that i hate starbucks coffee, see here and here, but that’s not what this search is about.

since i make my coffee at home, usually, i have set myself with a coffee maker that grinds the beans and brews the coffee automatically. yeah, i know, it was worth the money. there’s one problem though, my current coffee cup makes my coffee get cold very quickly. i am at wits end here. i have tried most of the solutions i can think of: heating the cups in the oven prior to use, filling the cup with scalding water to warm it and even heating it in the microwave but still no luck. my cup just wicks away the heat too quickly.

the other thing is that i like to mix my coffee once and be done. i don’t like having a 6oz cup and mix 3 batches of half & half and sugar just to enjoy my morning cup of joe. now, i’m not sitting around for an hour and expecting my cup to still be hot; i’m not that stupid. i really don’t think this is a hard request but it’s one that’s bugged me for some time now.

here’s what i’m looking for in the perfect coffee cup

• color: white or clear
• size: at least 16 ounces
• price: just don’t make me take out a second mortgage
