thank you bitterwaitress for finally doing what many of us in the food industry all these years have longed to do: create a central repository to track all sorts of shitty customers.
here’s the deal: the person’s name is listed on the site along with the number of people in their party, the date they were in, the name of the restaurant in question, city and state of said restaurant, and the best two: the amount of the check and the tip left for the server. you seriously better watch your back. if more servers and bartenders know this is out there they will hurt you bad. if you click on the name and the server has included it you will get a full rundown of the offending scenario.
people, it’s not hard. pony up for good service or don’t go out. plain and simple. consider yourself warned.
I wholeheartedly agree. Can’t believe I’m the first comment. There are numerous fast food joints these shitheads can go to. Sometimes I want to make up flyers on the whole tipping thing. Stuff about getting service (special requests, refills, xtra sauces, prompt change delivery, etc) and how the service is not INCLUDED in the meal prices and how they are a theiving piece of poop of they don’t tip at least 15%. Whaddya think?
Here’s another idea: Do your job right, don’t give us attitude, get us what we ordered and get it right the first time, and you’ll get a good tip. Do a lousy job and we’re under no obligation to leave you a good tip. I know, I know “But we make 2.75 an hour and we pool the tips and blah blah boo hoo blah blah whine whine …” No one forced you to become a server.
they call it a tip for a reason , so you will treat the customer with respect , you dont just get a tip because it is owed to you, how about looking like you care about the customer , i have seen some waitresses act ignorant thru the whole meal then at the end act sickingly sweet just before tip time, what i hate is when they get the order wrong because they werent listening then when it comes and you have to send it back because the item you asked not to be on it that you are allergic to is on it , then they are like i will get it fixed so you sit there and watch everyone eat then when everyone is done your meal comes, then the waittress acts all put out with you, or like the time i asked for silver ware , the waitress says i iwll bring it with the meal , meal arrives still no silverware, i ask sgain and wait with my food another ten minites, or the time i get my frys and ask for ketsup and get it fifteen mins later ,it is easier to eat at home, it is too much work to eat out, you feel like you sit there all day before your ordeal is over, you waiters and waitresses have to undertsand sometimes what the customers go thru wether it is your fault or not! also who feels like leaving a big tip if you get treated that way, usually i leave 15% or if they are good waiter or waitresses i give them 30% , because i care about how they are treated too, and i have seen some have crappy customers too.
