taste test: mcdonalds mcskillet burrito

yes okay, i tried it. i drank too much last night and wanted to feel better. what better way than to fast track grease input? none better. i went over to the golden arches and in a nearly empty restaurant ordered the new mcskillet burrito. for the uninitiated it’s a bigger version of the breakfast burrito but with even more corners cut.

mcskilletingredients: tortilla, sausage patty cut in half, eggs, potatoes, cheese, veggies (makes it healthy right?) and salsa.

but seriously, how’s it taste? not that great. from what i remember, i had a few taste buds missing, the sausage patty was not cutting it, the cheese was sparse, the potatoes undercooked. oh and the salsa had a weird flavor. they said it was ‘true fire roasted’ though i tend to disagree. the ‘fire roasted’ flavor was no doubt made in a factory off the new jersey turnpike.

here’s the other thing, i got a hash brown and a medium hi-c. so here are the nutritional breakdowns for those interested.

calories: 910 fat: 44g sat fat: 15g trans fat: 2.5g

cholesterol: 410mg sodium: 1690mg carbs: 122g protein: 28g

so was it worth it? no. i won’t get it again. i’ll stick to my 2 sausage breakfast burritos, hash browns and hi-c. i still feel like ass either way.
