wow is all i have to say.  the woman got me tickets to the projekt revolution tour for my birthday.  for those not wise it is a tour that includes julien k, placebo, him, taking back sunday, my chemical romance and linkin park.  now, my 2 favorite bands overall are him and linkin park.  to get them in the same show required me to bring 2, not 1, but 2 changes of underwear for fear that i might shit myself frequently.  let’s begin.

i will recap the highlights.  him was great as always.  vallo was awesome and totally fucked up.  he was as usual chain-smoking throughout the entire performance, which the woman was suprised about, but i knew it was normal.  they performed some new songs off their new album venus doom so that was nice.  big spoon and i can’t wait to go see them live when they come on october 25.

the best part was linkin park.  i specifically drank very little so i could see all the show.  it was so worth it.  chester came out with the guns blazing and kept it going.  the tempo was high and they maintained it throughout.  some notable highlights include faint, which was the final song before the encore.  wow, wow, wow and more wow.  the energy there was magical. encore time: one step closer, in the end and bleed it out.  holy shit…… let’s just put it this way, the entire show they were saying that we were the loudest show of the tour.  we are all used to hearing lead singers say that, nothing against you chester, but when shinoda didn’t have to sing one word of in the end i knew he wasn’t kidding.

overall the show rocked my world and it will be hard to top.  i waited 5 years to see them and every second was worth it.  it was by far the best i have seen.  nuff sed
